I really want to write something good about this mote...err, I mean, hotel. I don't know what rooms the pictures are from but it definitely was NOT the one we were staying in. So, it's not the Four Seasons, I can deal with that. Not the Ritz; no problem. But for the website to rate this place as a 3 star is beyond comprehension. Service was acceptable but I told them the morning after our first night that the tub would not drain. To make it short, the tub was still not fixed when we checked out 4 days later. Furniture had gaping holes, beds were just OK but they did have comfy pillows. Upon check-out they offered to upgrade our room when we return...NEWS FLASH - We're not going back. The one good thing worth mentioning is a gentleman named David Lopez. David is the hotel shuttle driver that took us EVERYWHERE! He went out of his way to take us to unscheduled shuttle locations and even arranged for a discounted rental car on one day. We made sure to tip him each time because of HIS service. We only wish the hotel could live up to the service David provided. I made sure to let management know and I'm positive he will continue to shine regardless of what hotel he works at.

This hotel is very family friendly. We went with our two small children and grandparents and they enjoyed the stay alot. The pool is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to families. They showed a cartoon movie each night by the pool which my six year old daughter really enjoyed. Great choice for families on a budget.

We stayed here last week for three days during our spring break vacation. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is in a great location, great room with microwave and a nice vanity area. The gentleman who checked us in was wonderful about getting us set up right away for the shuttles and was very nice. This meant a lot after a long day of driving to get there. Our room was right by the elevator and we never had a problem with noise. The pool and hot tub were an enjoyable end to an already great day in San Diego. The complimentary shuttles were a welcome addition as well. The only bad thing I could say was the parking was a little tricky at night but there always seemed to be a couple spots left to park at. They were just a little further away from the room but still pretty close. The Pam Pam Restaurant served good food at affordable prices. We would definitely suggest this hotel to other travelers. We were on a very tight budget and this hotel really surpassed all of our expectations.

The room was very nice, clean and large. The staff were friendly and helpful. We asked for more towels and they were delivered to our room before we even got back up there. The onsite restaurant had pleasant staff and the breakfast (only meals we ate there) was very good and reasonably priced. I would definately stay there again.
